Amsterdam Admirals was a Dutch American football club that played in the NFL Europe since its foundation in 1995. Initially, the Admirals played their games in the Olympic Stadium. When the Amsterdam ArenA was completed in 1996, not only football club AFC Ajax moved to the new stadium, but also the Admirals. In 2007, the club was dissolved due to the termination of the NFL Europe. In May 2022, it was announced that a possible entry of the Amsterdam Admirals into the European League of Football, which started in 2021, is being investigated.
