Miguel Indurain Larraya (born 16 July 1964 in Villava) is a Spanish former cyclist. He was the fourth cyclist, after the French Jacques Anquetil and Bernard Hinault and the Belgian Eddy Merckx, to win the Tour de France five times: an absolute record in 2024. After Lance Armstrong's seven consecutive Tour victories were cancelled, he is also the first, and again the only, after having been that until 2003, the only rider to win five Tour victories without interruption. Indurain achieved this feat in the years 1991 to 1995.
