Kappa is an Italian brand of sports shoes, sportswear, everyday wear and shoes.
The Kappa clothing brand was founded in 1967 in the northern Italian city of Turin. In the 1970s, the owners had a new logo designed for their company. During that phase, a picture was taken of two models, who happened to be sitting back to back. The logo symbolizes the idea of sportsmanship and freedom for men and women. This philosophy applies not only to sports, but also to daily challenges. The claim: "be a good athlete" refers to this attitude.
Towards the end of the 1970s, Kappa started sponsoring European football clubs. After the first technical sponsorship in Italian football (Juventus FC), various other sponsorships followed in the European top, including Feyenoord, AC Milan, AS Roma and AFC Ajax.
