Carrera was an Italian cycling team in the 1980s and 1990s. It was the successor to the Inoxpran cycling team, which was co-sponsor until 1986. Main sponsor Carrera is an Italian denim manufacturer.
In 1993, Davide Boifava stepped down as manager of the team and Giuseppe Martinelli Carrera took over. When Carrera stopped as a sponsor in 1996, Martinelli moved to Mercatone Uno with a large part of the team.
From 1987, Carrera was replaced as the first name by Carrera Jeans.
