Trek Bicycle Corporation (often abbreviated to Trek) is the largest bicycle manufacturer in the United States. Trek is headquartered in Waterloo, Wisconsin, where Trek was founded in 1976. In the Netherlands, the office for the Benelux is located in Harderwijk and the European distribution center in Wijchen.
Trek manufactures bicycles, bicycle parts and bicycle accessories. In addition to the Trek brand, Trek Bicycle Corporation also owns Gary Fisher, Bontrager, Klein, Villiger and Diamant. Due to the wide variety of products and constant development, Trek is the global market leader in bicycles. In total, Trek bicycles, parts and accessories are sold in more than 90 countries.
