Brescialat, later Liquigas, was an Italian cycling team in the 1990s and early 2000s. The team was founded in 1994 with Renzo Pesenti at its head. The first split followed in 1995. Sports director Primo Franchini started his own team with co-sponsor Ceramiche Refin and took a number of Brescialat riders with him.

The following year, former rider and sports director Bruno Leali started his own business with the San Marco Group team. His attempt failed, however, and the eight riders who came along had to look for a new team again in May 1996. Two of them found their way back to Brescialat. Belgian Eric Vanderaerden rode for the team for two seasons (1994–1995). In 1995 Vanderaerden finished sixth in Paris-Roubaix as a Brescialat rider, won by the Italian Franco Ballerini.

After 1998, Brescialat stopped sponsoring, after which the Italian gas company Liquigas continued the team under its company name as Liquigas-Pata until 2001. To remember from that period is the overall victory of Davide Rebellin in Tirreno-Adriatico 2001. In 2001 Denis Zanette stood for the Liquigas team on the podium of the Tour of Flanders. Zanette was third behind the Italian Gianluca Bortolami and the Dutchman Erik Dekker.

In 2003, technical director Fabio Bordonali started a new team called Tenax.
