GB - MG Maglificio was an amalgamation of the Italian cycling teams Del Tongo and Tonton Tapis-GB. The team existed from 1992 to 1999 with alternating main sponsors and co-sponsors such as the Italian bicycle company Bianchi and the Belgian supermarket chain GB. Giancarlo Ferretti, who later led the decorated Fassa Bortolo squad, was a sports director at MG Maglificio. Patrick Lefevere and Roger De Vlaeminck were responsible for management.

The team had its greatest successes with GB, MG Maglificio and Technogym as sponsors: in addition to the stage victories in Grand Tours with Mario Cipollini, important victories by Johan Museeuw in the Ronde van Vlaanderen (1993) and the Amstel Gold Race (1994), with Michele Bartoli in the Tour of Flanders (1996) and Liège-Bastogne-Liège (1997) and with Pascal Richard in Liège-Bastogne-Liège (1996).
