Lotto has a long tradition of cycling sponsorship that started in 1985. Since then, different names of co-sponsors adorned the jerseys, so that the team often changed its name over the years. In 2005 and 2006, the brand name Davitamon adorned the jerseys. In 2003 and 2004 this was the co-sponsor of the other major Belgian cycling team, Quick·Step. In November 2006 it was announced that the team would be called Predictor - Lotto in 2007, after the pregnancy test of main sponsor Omega Pharma. The Lotto team rode in salmon pink jerseys that season. During the years 2008-2009 the team raced under the name Silence - Lotto. From 2010 to 2011, the team was called "Omega Pharma - Lotto". From 2012 to 2014, the team raced under the name Lotto Belisol and from 2015 to 2022 under the name Lotto Soudal.
