Saeco is a former Italian cycling team. The team was founded in 1996 and remained in the peloton until 2004, when the team was merged into the ProTour team Lampre - Caffita. Caffita is part of the Saeco company, which makes coffee makers. The team's greatest success was the overall victory in the Tour of Italy in 2003 by Gilberto Simoni and the repeat of this in 2004 by Damiano Cunego. In addition, riders wearing a Saeco shirt won many (semi-)classics and other competitions.
Saeco is also the main sponsor of a small Swiss semi-professional team: Saeco-Romer's-Wetzikon.
