PDM is a former Dutch cycling team. The team was founded in 1986. Gin-MG was co-sponsor during the Spanish competitions.
In 1985, former cyclist and radio reporter Harrie Jansen was asked by PDM manager Ruud Wijnands to start a new cycling team. PDM would become the main sponsor for a budget that was higher than usual and would far exceed that of the two other Dutch teams, Panasonic and Kwamtum Hallen. On the eve of the new cycling season, Jansen signed Steven Rooks, Gerrie Kneteman and Pedro Delgado, among others.
The team presented itself as chic and challenging by, among other things, coordinating the color scheme in the shirt and bicycles, jet black team leader cars and by being the first cycling team to introduce a specially equipped, again jet black, bus into the peloton. The bus had armchairs, massage tables, a shower and televisions. The team was also one of the first to place medical supervision in the hands of a doctor associated with the team.
