The England rugby union team is a team of rugby players who represent England in international competitions.

England is one of the best rugby countries in the world and takes part in the Six Nations tournament annually. They have won this tournament a record 39 times. They have also taken part in every edition of the Rugby World Cup. In 1991 they lost the final 12-6 to Australia at Twickenham. In 2003, when the tournament was hosted by Australia, they won the final 20-17 against the host country. This happened on a Jonny Wilkinson drop goal in overtime with 21 seconds left. England also reached the final in 2007 and 2019, but lost each time.
