The New Zealand national rugby union team is a team of rugby players that represents New Zealand in international competitions. The team is known by their nickname All Blacks, which they got because they always play in an all-black uniform.

Rugby is the national sport of New Zealand and the national team is considered by many to be the best rugby team in the world. This is mainly based on the fact that New Zealand has won more times than it has lost against every country. Despite this, after their victory on home soil (1987) in the first Rugby World Cup, they failed to win the world title for five editions. It was only when the World Cup returned to New Zealand in 2011 that they won their second title. Four years later, in 2015, they became the first team to retain their title and became the record holder with three world titles. They play against Argentina, Australia and South Africa annually in The Rugby Championship.
