The Belgian lottery Lotto is the oldest sponsor in current cycling, since it started sponsoring the team in 1985, and still does so, currently under the full name Lotto Soudal.

In the early 1990s, the Lotto - Super Club brought together a good selection, including a young Johan Museeuw, who won two stages in the 1990 Tour de France, and Johan Bruyneel, who years later would become sports director of US Postal.
