Mapei was an Italian-Belgian cycling team that existed from 1993 to 2002. The squadra azzurra or blue armada, as the team was also called, was mainly successful in one-day races and cycling classics. The team's motto was vincere insieme, win together, which was most evident in Paris-Roubaix, where on three occasions (1996, 1998 and 1999) the entire podium was filled with Mapei riders. The main sponsor was the Italian chemical company Mapei. The maecenas was Giorgio Squinzi.
