ONCE (also written as O.N.C.E.) is a former Spanish cycling team. The team joined the peloton in 1989, sponsored by the Spanish lottery Organización Nacional de Ciegos de España, a charity lottery for the blind and visually impaired, and various co-sponsors over the years. Under the leadership of leaders Laurent Jalabert and Alex Zülle, ONCE grew into one of the best teams in the peloton in the mid-1990s.

The figurehead of the team was the eccentric sports director Manolo Saiz, who was especially noticeable when he shouted forward to his riders from start to finish from his team leader's car during time trials. Saiz had a preference for time trialists, who preferred to be able to climb reasonably well. It brought his team many successes, with riders such as Melchor Mauri, Abraham Olano, Joseba Beloki, David Etxebarria and a young Carlos Sastre. Veteran Marino Lejarreta ended his career at ONCE, Joaquím Rodríguez started his career there. Erik Breukink and Johan Bruyneel also drove for the team. Almost all Spanish stage races have been won by the team in the fifteen seasons that ONCE has been active, including four times the Tour of Spain. Especially thanks to Jalabert, the team was also able to drink champagne at some major one-day races.

When the sponsor decided to stop in 2003, Saiz's career as a sports director seemed to come to an end. However, he still found a sponsor in the American Liberty Mutual and continued the team in 2004 as Liberty Seguros. The team was discredited in 2006 by the doping scandal surrounding sports doctor Eufemiano Fuentes. At the end of 2006, the team's license was revoked. A number of drivers and staff transferred to the Astana team.
