Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG (often abbreviated to Porsche AG) is a German manufacturer of sports cars, founded in 1931 by Ferdinand Porsche, also the designer of the first Volkswagen. The company is located in Zuffenhausen, near Stuttgart. Since 2009, the company has been owned by Volkswagen, which in turn is largely owned by Porsche SE. In September 2022, Porsche AG received its own stock exchange listing, although Volkswagen AG remains by far the largest shareholder.

Porsche Consulting GmbH exists next to the car factory. This company has offered its services to other car manufacturers for many years. Studebaker, Seat, Lada, Daewoo and Subaru have all used Porsche's knowledge to develop their cars.

The head office and factory are located in Zuffenhausen, but a new factory has been built in Leipzig for the Cayenne and Carrera GT. The Porsche Boxster was also built in the past by Valmet Automotive in Finland.
